  • Manage the packaging buy-off process, ensuring that all packaging solutions meet the required specifications and standards before implementation.
  • Conduct packaging performance testing, as needed, to ensure compliance with design standards.

What you bring to the team:

  • Bachelor's degree in Packaging, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering (Master's preferred).
  • 5-8 years of packaging experience in automotive, aerospace, or similar high-volume industry.
  • Proven experience in optimizing returnable and expendable packaging with suppliers, with a strong background in packaging material selection and durability testing.
  • Proficient in CAD tools for packaging design and optimization, with experience in cost analysis, budgeting, and business case development.
  • Deep knowledge of packaging design, materials, and logistics optimization.
  • Familiarity with ISO, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Understanding of sustainable packaging practices and compliance standards.
