Summary: We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant specializing in wound care to join our team. This is a full-time 5 days per week position. You will be responsible for the assessment, diagnosis and treatment of assigned patients in the in-home, nursing home and assisted living settings. This position requires the NP/PA to travel in a designated area to perform wound care.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage wound care at skilled nursing and assisted living facilities
  • Manage wound care in the in-home setting
  • Diagnose and establish patient treatment plans
  • Assess, monitor and report changes in patient symptoms
  • Communicate with collaborating physicians or specialists regarding wound care
  • Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities
  • Maintain accurate patient medical records
  • Provide advice and emotional support to patients and their family members

Responsibilities:

  • Previous experience in nursing or other medical fields
  • Familiarity with medical software and equipment
  • Ability to build rapport with patients
  • Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge and experience of wound and ostomy care

Education and Experience:

  • Master of Science in Nursing/PA equivalent
  • Must be Board Certified in FL (BOARD ELIGIBLE IS NOT ACCEPTED)
  • Excellent customer service skills

Full-time position available (Monday – Friday)
Flexible work hours, NO night or weekend calls, great staff to work with!
Potential bonus pay!

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $95,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
