The Institute for Community Health (ICH) is a non-profit consulting organization that is part of the Cambridge Health Alliance. ICH provides planning and assessment, participatory evaluation, applied research and data services to help local communities create sustainable health. This is an entry level financial analyst position. The Financial Analyst I will work closely with ICH's Senior Finance Manager. Note that this is a hybrid position, with some in-office days required each week.

Responsibilities include supporting client contracting and invoicing, monitoring organizational expenses and supporting staff with purchasing and reimbursements, and assisting with financial reporting.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in business, economics, or related field(s) preferred
  • Previous internship or work experience in billing/reimbursement, grants/contracts management and/or budgeting or financial analysis preferred
  • Exceptional attention to detail, initiative, and able to work autonomously.
  • Strong analytical skills required. Systems experience including: Integration of mainframe and PC applications, use of Excel, Access, Quickboooks or Meditech General Ledger and other related software product
