Responsibilities:
Assist the driller with setting up and operating drilling rigs and equipment.
Help with the collection of soil, rock, and material samples for geotechnical and environmental testing.
Ensure safety protocols are followed on the job site.
Transport and handle materials, tools, and equipment.
Maintain and organize drilling equipment to ensure it is in good working condition.
Assist with basic maintenance and repairs of equipment.
Follow instructions from the lead driller and other crew members.
Work in various weather conditions and on different types of terrain.
Drive company vehicles to transport equipment and materials when needed (CDL-A license is a plus).
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a labor or construction environment preferred.
Ability to perform physical labor and work in varying weather conditions.
Eagerness to learn and assist with drilling operations.
Valid driver’s license; CDL-A license is a plus, but not required.
Strong attention to safety procedures and willingness to follow directions.
Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
Ability to work well as part of a team.
