Your Core Responsibilities: Handle accounts payable and receivable, journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close processes. Consolidate financials across entities, manage intercompany transactions, and produce accurate financial statements. Prepare job cost reports, dashboards, and provide insights to support informed business decisions. Coordinate audits, tax prep, and year-end close with our external accounting partners. Maintain and optimize ERP system workflows to ensure efficiency and data integrity. Use Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, macros) to build and analyze custom financial reports. Oversee insurance renewals, vendor relations, light HR support, and overall administrative processes. Serve as a trusted advisor to ownership and senior leaders. Qualifications: 5+ years of experience in bookkeeping/accounting in construction, manufacturing, or service-based industries Experience managing multiple business entities Proficient in ERP systems (QuickBooks Enterprise, NetSuite, Sage, or Foundation) Advanced Excel skills (including formulas, pivot tables, and macros) Exceptionally detail-oriented, organized, and deadline-driven Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills Self-starter with a solutions-oriented mindset
